KOWHAI SYNDICATE - 2012
Welcome to Kowhai Syndicate. This year we have four classes, these are Room 1, Mr Michael Stewart, Room 2, Mrs Sue Grant, Room 16, Ms Di Puati and Room 17, Mr Steve Aiken.
Take Action for Water
This year we have been accepted into the "Take Action for Water" programme. This will be our topic focus for Terms 1 and 2. We will be assisted by Janey Hilford from the Wellington Regional Council. The children will undertake stream testing and continue to work on the Wharemauku Stream.
Go Green
We also as part of our environment unit we will be helping the "Go Green" team with their entry of a Show Garden at the Kapiti Sustainable Garden Show at the end of March.
Kapiti Island Trip Term 2
During Term two we will have a day trip to Kapiti Island. This is always a highlight of Kowhai Syndicate.
All of the children have a stationary list and one is on the front page of the website and it would be great if they were all ready on the first day of school.
