This week was the PCT Challenge, Raumati Beach won and they get to go to Rainbow's End for a long weekend. Our team didn't do too badly, at least we didn't come last! Four or five schools participated which was lower than usual.

We did some awesome art with Ms Bolton, we will put up some photos of that next week. It was about the road of life. Francesca didn't really enjoy it!

At the beginnning of the week we used green hat thinking to write some articles that would fit under the headline 'Teens listen to Queen while house burns'.

Mrs Wagstaff corrected the Room 19 Learning posters that Anna had commented on on the blog, she pointed out the mistake on it.

Today we finished our first cycle at Tech. Here are some photos of some of our finished articles:

 

We have begun to work out what the big question 'Is the Central Plateau a sustainable tourism area?' We have defined some of the words within the question. Caitlin believes that it is a sustainable area.

The basic facts maths champ for the week was ..........FRANCESCA!!!!  She was very proud until Jonty knocked her off her perch on Friday. Well done Jonty.

Selena and Francesca have volunteered to coach one of the Future Ferns netball teams. These teams are made up of young girls that have never played netball before. I am sure Francesca and Selena will do a great job, thank you for taking on this leadership role.

Selena is also involved in the Enviroschools group and has worked on the garden that is on display at the Sustainable Garden Show at Kapiti School this weekend. She is also one of a small number of Year 7 & 8 students that are going to interview Te Radar (from the TV show). Hopefully we will have some photos of that to show you next week.

I am at school and I am board!!!! my team came first in the school our time was 3:31 go us. sophie rocks!!!!:) ;):P
