Teacher Room 17

Welcome, I'm the teacher in Room 17. I teach year 5 & 6 students. Last year I was on a science fellowship studying our unique freshwater fish. I was also promoting the rehabilitation of the Wharemauku Stream that runs from Valley Rd through Coastlands and out to the sea at Raumati Beach. I'm still involved with these environmental projects and hope to enthuse the students to become involved also.
I love the outdoors and immersing myself in nature. I especially enjoy the sports you can experience in the mountains, the rivers and the ocean and the peace you can find there.
